"Built in 1885 when Naas had a railway line, it's a fine stone building with handsome wooden floors and a high ceiling, which has now been
converted into a restaurant. It works rather well as a conversion, the tables are well placed to ensure space for everyone, the high backed upholstered chairs act like a privacy wall. We got an instant welcome at the door and were shown to our table. In moments we had our bills of fare, a bottle of mineral water and bread rolls on the table. The menu and wine list have a picture of a steam locomotive on the cover, which seems appropriate, while the long tubular lampshades high above mirrored the locomotive's funnel. I started with the wine list, which is above average in mark up. It's arranged from light-bodied to full-bodied, an arrangement that's about as useful as listing the wines by their Pantone colour shade. The menu is fairly classical European, but it does have a dash of Asian. There were mussels,

"Went here for a change, was impressed with what i got. Starter of goats cheese, beetroot and hazelnut salad was delicious, fish cake was tasty and salmon (main) was well made with lemony crushed potatoes and home made oven dried tomatoes, all adding to tasty well cooked salmon. The waiter was very much on the ball and very quick to offer refill of water or bread. Its a while since i have had no complaints at all about service but it was very good here and will defo return."

"I have dined in the Storehouse a few times and was very impressed so that's why I chose it for my wedding dinner. There were 21 dults & 2 children. We had finger food to start and we went for the Al Carte menu. We also had our wedding cake made by the chef there. Nothing was too much. The staff were so pleasant and helpful. They catered really well for the children and our guests were so impressed with the food and service. Nothing was too much and they made our day very special."

"Myself and my boyfriend had one of the best meals we've ever had at The Storehouse. Every course was delicious and there was a great choice on the menu. The staff were very attentive, helpful and friendly. Great value for money. Highly recommend."

pate, their signature Caesar salad, wontons, French onion soup among the starters, so Rocco had the Caesar salad and I had the onion soup. Both of these were excellent, so we were looking forward to the main courses. There was a huge variety of meat done in lots of different ways.' He was right, there was beef in a variety of ways, lamb, pork and duck. I convinced him to be a retro-diner and have the steak Diane, which he did, while I had the pork chop. Again, both of us had competently made dishes, plenty of it, and really attentive service.
Neither of us had desserts, just two very good espressos for me - they understand the concept of 'short' espressos here - and an Irish coffee for Rocco. For an evening out, this restaurant gets all the important things right."

"The storehouse is a fantastic restaurant. I had my wedding here. All 88 guests were very impressed! The excellent staff catered to our every need, nothing was too much of an ask. We had a guinness keg in for the day, a small marquee for drinks reception, and were allowed to supply our own wine with a small corkage fee. The next day I came back to collect a few things and all leftover wine (even if only a glass left in) was corked up and ready for us to take home. The wedding was very reasonably priced, and kicked on late. They accommodated our 5 piece band, made us a french wedding cake and had tasty options for vegetarians and coeliacs. It was a great day and I would highly recommend this restaurant for small groups or a large function!"

"I booked dinner for an important group outing (16 of us) that I really needed to go well. I had no cause to worry - from start to finish it was a truly great evening. We had the private room which is a really lovely area for a large group. The food was fantastic, the wine list was great and the restaurant itself is fabulous lending itself to a really great atmosphere. However it was the service that for me really sets this restaurant apart from the myriad of others that seem to have forgotten what it is a restaurant is actually suppposed to provide to its clientele. From our initital booking to leaving as very satisfied customers everyone we encountered was friendly, courteous and helpful going above and well beyond what we have come to expect. Well done The Storehouse."
